IN-BUILDING SOLUTION

BLOCK ELEMENTS

Block Elements

Block Elements applies a prefabricated modular construction approach to a brick-and mortar building. Block Elements changes the traditional data center construction process of attaching equipment one by one to the building shell.

Containment Blocks use the hot aisle containment frame as the base structure to attach the ceiling grid, lighting, cable tray, temperature/humidity/smoke sensors and security cameras. Containment Blocks are prefabricated and shipped either completely assembled or flat packed.

Containment Blocks support the majority of the data center elements dramatically reducing loads and structural steel. Standardized components improve quality while reducing the cost of construction. Containment Blocks support ceiling plenums, connecting return and or supply air to external AHUs (outside air).

Prime Advantages

Rapid Deployment, Flexible, Scalable

  • Global delivery between 16 to 18 weeks

  • Factory prefabrication, reliability and quality control

  • Products come standardized or can be custom-built to meet your requirements

  • Modular design accommodates any IT cabinet requirements

Integrated Design

  • Allows for factory off-site manufacturing of key elements (power, cooling and containment systems) while a traditional building shell is constructed; reducing construction cost and time while improving quality control

  • Power and cooling skids are designed to meet client specifications for redundancy and availability

  • Ceiling frames designed to reduce roof load while supporting high density IT cabinet deployments

  • Available for single-story or multi-story configurations
